As we touch new lives coming into Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage, we realize life in poverty is like playing a game. One never knows whether to face the obstacles or just “skirt” around them and hope that we can still come out ahead. Our humorous motto is, Faith, Hope and Beg and with that said would you consider making a donation to Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage at this time.
Your support will help provide funding for furnished homes, operating costs and daily living expenses which allow the single parent in homelessness and poverty, to live with their children while obtaining their college degree. This college degree offers a sense of pride and accomplishment, but will also enable these parents to support their children through a career and provide financial stability and hope for their families. It is the objective of Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage through love and support to break the cycle of poverty, two generations at a time for these parents to become strong, productive role models for their children.

These things along with the love and support from the Cottages allow the parent in homelessness and poverty to live with their children while obtaining their college degree. This degree not only offers a sense of pride and accomplishment, but enables parents to support their children through a career, which will provide the families with financial stability and hope. It is the objective of Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage to break the cycle of poverty, and for parents to become strong, productive role models for their children, thus moving the whole family off of the government system.
The Eveline Blanket is a fabulous ways and means project for Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage. Created in 2014, these blankets are hand made at Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage workplace, and the monies raised are used directly to benefit the single Moms and their children who live in Eveline’s Sunshine Cottage.
Proceeds from these beautiful and luxurious throws help our moms pay for their college education.
